Types of globe valves available
Forced seat globe valve
In press-fit valves, the seal is ensured by the valve itself, a metallic closing element, which bears against a metal disc. In other words, the seal is of the metal-on-metal type.
Metal bellows globe valve
The shaft sealing system of these valves is reinforced by a stainless steel bellows. Thus, the seal between the shaft bearing and the outside is ensured by a cup-bellows-stem assembly installed between the bonnet and the valve body.
Globe piston valve
Piston valves feature a metal-elastic sealing system. They consist of two elastic rings and a piston that fits into them. This piston provides the seal. The pressure exerted by the mounting nuts surrounds the piston inside the rings, creating radial pressure that ensures a perfect seal.

Operating principle

These valves use a closing system based on the pressure exerted by the crank on the seat, while external sealing is ensured by two different methods: a gasket guarantees a seal between the body and the bonnet, and sealing rings ensure a seal between the drive shaft and the external environment.
Unlike other types of valves, the piston closing mechanism also eliminates sediment and debris that may accumulate in the circuit, thus ensuring reliable and durable operation even under difficult conditions.
